There are some websites and articles I often find very useful. I use their information to add to my own knowledge and skills in raising my daughter, and would recommend them to others without a doubt.
The first of these is mamaOT.com - although many might think my blog is similar to hers, my main focus is on the developmental age of my daughter and will be updated as she grows and develops. I also like to provide more depth on some aspects.
Another site I have used since my daughter was 3-4 weeks old is www.mybabysleepguide.com. I find her information to be well researched, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.
A brand that I have discovered and love to promote is 'Tiny Love'. I find their toys to be very educational, multipurpose and ergonomical, supporting the physical development of babies. They don't use many electronic toys, which I also love!
I will be continuously updating this page with resources to articles and sites I find useful, so that you can see the information for yourself too!
My first link has to do with exersaucers, walkers and jumpers - www.earlyinterventionsupport.com/walkers-exersaucers-jumpers-impact-babys-development/
This next one is a milestone chart from the UK version of Baby Center. I like it because it separates the milestones for that age into skills that should have already been achieved, emerging skills and advanced skills for that month. Its quite interesting to see when your baby is advanced in one area (like physical development) but still just sitting on par for the other areas - www.babycentre.co.uk/a6476/milestone-chart-one-to-six-months
Happy exploring!
